Do you want to get hands-on experience building the brand that introduces the world to the power of algae during your internship? Do you know exactly what works and what doesn't on social media, and is your phone (or camera) always nearby? Do you also want to learn everything about what goes into producing online content? From the initial idea to going live on all channels? Then this is the role for you!

What will you do?
You will support a crucial role in our rapidly growing company: the entire production process of our social media content. From wild creative idea to concept, production, post-production, and publication on all channels. Alone or in exciting collaborations with our ambassadors. You will work with us to turn the best and craziest ideas into reality and create the highest quality content.

Responsibilities

As an intern with us, you are a full-fledged team member and will be involved in all aspects of our daily work! This means a varied task package where every day is different, including the following components.

Concepting

• You brainstorm and co-write scripts and storylines for major shoots. Those videos you see online: you'll have played a big part in them!
• You scour social media daily for inspiration and keep us sharp on what works and what doesn't online.
• You deliver weekly social-proof ideas and cool angles for our content on our various channels.

Pre-production

• As production manager, you arrange props, locations, and ensure everything is production-ready.
• You also assist in preparing and briefing those involved on set.

Production

• Exciting shoot or filming day at the office or on location? You'll be there!
• During productions, you are responsible for the smooth running of the filming day, so our videographer, photographer, and creative director can fully focus on their work!
• This means, for example: arranging logistics and ensuring all props are present.
• Your creativity is also indispensable on set. During shoots, you create BTS content with your phone, which you can quickly turn into a short Reel the next day.

Post-production & Go-live

• While the editor does their work, you and our content manager will focus on the overarching content plan.
• You ensure that all editor's content is stored in the right place and learn from the edits and iterations made.
• Then you publish the content (stories, reels, substantive posts) and cross-post it on all channels.
• You also get to create TikTok videos independently every week. If you want to pour all your creativity into this and involve the entire team, that's only a good thing!

Who are we looking for?
As Digital Growth Strategist at plnktn, you are the crucial link between creation and performance. You understand in detail what makes or breaks a good creative. From strong hooks and compelling scripts to visual structure: you know exactly why something does or doesn't convert.

With this knowledge, you provide input throughout the entire creative process, from scripting to edits and publication across all channels. You work closely with our team, our external creators, and ambassadors.

With these same insights, you then take charge of our main marketing channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, email, and website). You determine where budget needs to work hardest and ensure every euro is spent as efficiently as possible. You know from experience how to scale an e-commerce brand online and are not content with mediocrity.

What do we ask of you?

What you've already done

• Approximately 3 years of experience in a (senior) digital marketing role at a progressive brand or agency. 
• You have seen what works and why it works.

What you understand

• That paid marketing is highly scalable, provided you tweak the right levers. 

What you can do

• You understand what makes a good ad (hooks, scripts, visuals) and can direct creatives substantively.
• You have experience with paid channels (Meta, TikTok, Google) and know how to set up and optimize campaigns.
• You are data-driven and understand metrics like CPA, ROAS, and CAC.
• You continuously test via A/B tests and work from hypotheses.
• You directly translate insights into feedback for the team, leading to better creatives and campaigns.
• You know where the budget needs to work hardest and dare to make choices in scaling up or stopping.
• If you enjoy it, you also help write scroll-stopping scripts that you help translate into cool productions and video concepts!

You will be the first point of contact for our customers and will assist them in a friendly, clear, and substantively strong manner, whether it concerns health questions or orders. Together with the team, you will ensure that every customer feels heard and helped.

• Answer diverse customer inquiries through all our channels.
• Provide substantive advice on product use (within applicable guidelines).
• Liaise with external partners regarding customer processes.
